Greenbelt, Maryland - U.S. District Judge Alexander Williams, Jr. sentenced Marcus Tyrek Chase, age 27, of Lexington Park, Maryland, today to 15 years in prison followed by five years of supervised release for conspiracy to distribute, and possess with intent to distribute, cocaine and crack cocaine in St. Mary’s County, Maryland.

The sentence was announced by United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein; Acting Special Agent in Charge Robert Brisolari of the Drug Enforcement Administration - Washington Field Division; and St. Mary’s County Sheriff Tim Cameron.

According to Chase’s guilty plea, from November 2010 through July 15, 2011, Chase conspired with Brian Deandre Bush, Demetrius Deandre Young, Kerry Alexander Bond, Sr., John Larry Dickerson, William Lamont Young and others to distribute cocaine in St. Mary’s County, Maryland.
