
Local man convicted of drug and weapons charges
St. Louis, MO - ANTONIO SHAW, St. Louis City, MO, was convicted of one felony count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute marijuana and cocaine base (crack), and one felony count of possession and brandishing one or more firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. The six-day trial was held before United States District Judge Henry Autrey.
Shaw now faces penalties ranging from ten years to life in prison. In determining the actual sentences, a Judge is required to consider the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines, which provide recommended sentencing ranges.
This case was investigated by the Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Saint Louis County Police Department, the Berkeley Police Department, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
