
Charles Runyan , Jr. Found Guilty in U.S. Federal Court

Bill Mercer, United States Attorney for the District of Montana, announced today that on December 2, 2009, in Great Falls, after a bench trial before U.S. District Judge Sam E. Haddon, CHARLES RUNYON, JR., a 33-year-old resident of Havre, was found guilty of failure to register as a sexual offender. Sentencing is set for March 18, 2009.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Rebekah J. French prosecuted the case for the United States.
RUNYON faces possible penalties of 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and lifetime supervision.
The investigation was conducted by the U.S. Marshals Service.
