
Douglas Floyd Main Found Guilty in U.S. Federal Court

The United States Attorney's Office announced that on April 6, 2010, in Great Falls, after a federal district court trial before U.S. District Judge Sam E. Haddon, DOUGLAS FLOYD MAIN, a 23-year-old resident of Fort Belknap, was found guilty of assault resulting in serious bodily injury. Sentencing is set for August 2, 2010. He is currently detained.
Assistant U.S. Attorneys Rebekah J. French and Vince Carroll prosecuted the case for the United States.
MAIN faces possible penalties of 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and 3 years supervised release.
The investigation was a cooperative effort between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Fort Belknap Law Enforcement.
