andrew David Rice Found Guilty in U.S. Federal Court

The United States Attorney's Office announced that on June 22, 2010, in Great Falls, after a federal district court trial before U.S. District Judge Sam E. Haddon, ANDREW DAVID RICE, a 24-year-old resident of Geraldine, was found guilty of viewing child pornography. Sentencing is set for October 18, 2010. He is currently detained.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael S. Lahr prosecuted the case for the United States.
RICE faces possible penalties of 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and a mandatory 5 years to life supervised release.
The investigation was conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
