
Arvin Bon Red Star Found Guilty in U.S. Federal Court

The United States Attorney's Office announced that on August 5, 2010, in Great Falls, after a federal district court trial before U.S. District Judge Sam E. Haddon, ARVIN BON RED STAR, a 21-year-old resident of Poplar, was found guilty of aggravated sexual abuse. Sentencing is set for December 2, 2010. He is currently detained.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Marcia K. Hurd prosecuted the case for the United States.
RED STAR faces possible penalties of life in prison, a $250,000 fine and lifetime supervised release.
The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
