Robert Rowe Found Guilty in U.S. Federal Court

The United States Attorney's Office announced that on July 11, 2011, in Missoula, after a federal district court trial before U.S. District Judge Donald W. Molloy, ROBERT ROWE, a 36-year-old resident of Missoula, was found guilty of sexual exploitation of children and possession of child pornography. Sentencing is set for October 21, 2011. He is currently detained.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Cyndee L. Peterson prosecuted the case for the United States.

ROWE faces possible penalties of a mandatory minimum of 15 years in prison and could be sentenced to 30 years, a $250,000 fine and lifetime supervision. The investigation was conducted by the Montana Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
