RALEIGH - United States Attorney George E. B. Holding announced that a federal grand jury has returned a true bill of indictment against ALLISON LEE QUETS, age 49. QUETS has been charged in a two count indictment with international parental kidnapping, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1204.

Investigation of the case was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Assistant United States Attorney John S. Bowler is prosecuting the case for the United States.

An Indictment is only a charge and is not evidence of guilty. The defendant is entitled to a fair trial in which it will be the Government’s burden to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. A trial date has not yet been set.
