DUNN MAN SENTENCED TO 60 MONTHS IN PRISON

RALEIGH - United States Attorney George E. B. Holding announced that on March 28, 2007, in federal court, United States District Judge James C. Dever, III, sentenced ANTHONY SCOTT NABORS,22 of Dunn, North Carolina, to 60 months imprisonment.

A Criminal Indictment filed by the United States Attorney’s Office on April 19, 2006, charged NABORS with possession of a firearm, a Colt .38 caliber revolver, by a convicted felon. NABORS pled guilty to the charge on October 23, 2006. NABORS criminal history included several felony convictions with intent to sell and deliver cocaine.

Investigation of the case was conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Assistant United States Attorney Jane Jackson prosecuted the case.
