
Brooklyn Man Charged with
Attempting to Export munitions without a License
Igor Bobel, 43, of Brooklyn, New York, was charged in a two-count information, filed today, with one count of attempting to export munitions without a license and one count of smuggling, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger.
If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum sentence of 30 years imprisonment, three years supervised release, a $1.25 million fine, and a $200 special assessment.
This case was investigated by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Salvatore L. Astolfi.
