
philadelphia man Charged With false statement in a passport application

Karefe Cover, 25, of Philadelphia, was charged today by indictment with one count of making a false statement in a United States passport application, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger.
Cover faces a maximum sentence of 10 years imprisonment. He also faces a $250,000 fine and a $100 special assessment.
The case was investigated by the United States Diplomatic Security Service and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Michael S. Lowe.
