
Philadelphia Man charged With assaulting a federal officer

Francesco Riccio, 51, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was charged today by indictment with assaulting a Customs and Border Protection officer at the Philadelphia Airport, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger.
If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of eight years imprisonment and a $250,000.
The case was investigated by the Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigations, and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Richard A. Lloret.
