
Alleged Bank Robber Charged
Terrence Bolden, 39, of Philadelphia, PA was charged today by Indictment with one count of bank robbery, one count of attempted bank robbery, two counts of attempted armed bank robbery, two counts of carrying and using a firearm during a crime of violence, and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger and Philadelphia District Attorney R. Seth Williams.
If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of life imprisonment, including a 47 year mandatory minimum prison sentence, a $1,750,000 fine, a five year period of supervised release and a $700 special assessment.
The case was investigated by the Philadelphia Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is being prosecuted by Special Assistant United States Attorney Vicki J. Markovitz.
