
Man Charged With Impersonating Secret Service Agent
Jeffrey Freezman, 47, of Ambler, Pennsylvania was charged by Information, filed Monday, with one count of impersonating an officer or employee of the United States, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. According to the information, Freezman falsely and knowingly represented himself to be a Special Agent with the United State Secret Service in attempting to obtain official uniforms of that agency, that is, raid jackets, and other uniform components.
If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of three years imprisonment, one year of supervised release and a $250,000 fine.
The case was investigated by the United States Secret Service and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Christopher Diviny.
