Norristown Man Charged With Illegal Reentry
Alfredo Tinoco-Ascencion, 28, of Norristown, Pennsylvania, was charged today by Indictment with one count of illegal reentry after deportation, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The indictment alleges that on or about June 12, 2012, Tinoco-Ascencion, an alien, and native and citizen of Mexico, was found in the United States after having been deported from the United States on or about March 31, 2007, April 5, 2007, May 12, 2007, May 17, 2007, May 28, 2007, June 7, 2007, July 7, 2007, and August 12, 2007.
If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of two years.
The case was investigated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”) and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Joel D. Goldstein.
