
Philadelphia Man Indicted On Drug And Gun Charges
Daniel Johnson, 38, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was charged today by Indictment with one count of attempted possession with intent to distribute oxycodone, one count of possession with intent to distribute various controlled substances, one count of possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger.
If convicted, the defendant faces a mandatory minimum of five years in prison and a maximum possible sentence of life in prison, a $4.5 million fine, a mandatory minimum of six years of supervised release, and a $400 special assessment.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Philadelphia Police Department and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Vineet Gauri.
