Man Charged with one count of illegal reentry
Victor Manuel Nunez, 59, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was charged today by Indictment with one count of illegal reentry after deportation, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The indictment alleges that on or about May 22, 2012, Nunez, an alien, and native and citizen of the Dominican Republic, was found in the United States after having been deported from the United States on or about November 2, 2003.
If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of twenty years.
The case was investigated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”) and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney James R. Pavlock.
