Norristown Man Charged with robbery and possession of a firearm

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 22, 2012

 

Marc Viney, 33, of Norristown, was charged yesterday by Indictment with robbery, criminal conspiracy to commit robbery, and possession a firearm in furtherance of a violent crime, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger.

If convicted, Viney faces a guideline sentence of 360 months to a maximum of life in prison.

The case was investigated by the FBI, Montgomery County Detective Bureau and members of the Norristown Police Department and is being prosecuted by Special Assistant United States Attorney Rebecca W. Strubel.
