Norristown Man Charged With Illegal Reentry
Jose Luis Lara-Cabrera, a/k/a “Ricardo Urbano Castillo,” a/k/a “Gregorio Gomez-Alcauter,”49, of Norristown, Pennsylvania, was charged today by Indictment with one count of illegal reentry after deportation, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The indictment alleges that on or about March 7, 2012, Lara Cabrera, an alien, and native and citizen of Mexico, was found in the United States after having been deported from the United States on or about June 6, 1990, June 20, 1996 and December 20, 2000.
If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 20 years.
The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations (“HSI”) and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney M. Beth Leahy.
