Charged With Illegal Reentry After Deportation
Jose Rios-Angelito, a/k/a “Pedro Ponce-Angelito,” a/k/a “Jose Rios,” 35, of Norristown, Pennsylvania, was charged today by Indictment with one count of illegal reentry after deportation, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The indictment alleges that on or about April 30, 2012, Rios-Angelito, an alien, and native and citizen of Mexico, was found in the United States after having been deported from the United States on or about October 22, 2008, November 30, 2008, and April 12, 2010.
If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of ten years.
The case was investigated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”) and is being prosecuted by Special Assistant United States Attorney Mark T. Sendek.
