reading man faces sentencing on child porn charges

PHILADELPHIA - Joseph Ocetnik, Jr., 41, of Reading, Pennsylvania, was sentenced today to 72 months in prison for receipt and possession of child pornography. Ocetnik pleaded guilty August 24, 2012 to one count of receipt of child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography. Ocetnik admitted to possessing more than 600 images of child exploitation, some of which depicted children being victimized in depictions of masochistic conduct. Ocetnik also admitted to paying for access to child pornography websites.

In addition to the prison term, U.S. District Court Judge Michael Baylson ordered Ocetnik to pay a $1,000 fine, a $300 special assessment, and ordered lifetime supervised release.

The case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations and was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Alicia M. Freind and Jason Jones.
