new york resident Charged With illegal reentry
Haidyn Eliel Queiro, a/k/a “Santana Cornelio Paulino-Garcia,” 32, of Bronx, New York, was charged today by Indictment with one count of illegal reentry after deportation, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The indictment alleges that on or about September 6, 2012, Queiro, an alien, and native and citizen of the Dominican Republic, was found in the United States after having been deported from the United States on or about June 29, 2005 and January 30, 2008.
If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 20 years.
The case was investigated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Roberta Benjamin.
