philadelphia man Charged With production of child pornography
Steven Mazer, 25, of Philadelphia, was arrested Friday on a criminal complaint charging him with production of child pornography. Mazer teaches karate at a school in the Bustleton section of Philadelphia which offers classes to children. Mazer made an initial appearance in magistrate’s court today and remains in federal custody pending a formal indictment. If convicted, the defendant faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years in prison with a maximum possible sentence of 30 years in prison.
