connecticut man Charged With assaulting a national park police officer
Nathangregory C. Stmartin, 20, of Cheshire, Connecticut, was charged in a criminal information with one count of assault within maritime and territorial jurisdiction, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The information alleges that Stmartin assaulted a National Park Police Officer.
If convicted of all charges, the defendant faces a total maximum sentence of 6 months imprisonment, 1 year supervised release, a $5,000 fine, and a $100 special assessment.
This case was investigated by the National Park Service and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Salvatore L. Astolfi.
