
West Mifflin Woman Will Spend 18 Months In Prison For Fraud Scheme
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Acting United States Attorney Robert S. Cessar announced today, April 7, 2010, that Michelle Lynn McClure, a resident of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced in federal court in Pittsburgh to 18 months imprisonment and 3 years supervised release on her conviction of wire fraud.
United States District Judge Alan N. Bloch imposed the sentence on McClure, age 37.
According to information presented to the court by Assistant United States Attorney Scott W. Brady, from December 28, 2004, and continuing until October 15, 2007, McClure fraudulently utilized the bank account and bank routing numbers from the victims in this case to pay for $91,843.95 in charges on McClure's credit card.
Mr. Cessar commended the U.S. Secret Service and the Gardendale Alabama Police Department for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of McClure.
