
Removed Alien Sentenced To Time Served, Deportation For Illegally Reentering U.S.
PITTSBURGH, Pa. ‑ A resident of Mexico pleaded guilty and was sentenced in federal court to time served and deportation to Mexico on a charge of reentry of a removed alien, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.
Celedonio Ramirez‑Flores, 27, pleaded guilty on Dec. 1, 2010, to a one‑count charge of violating federal immigration laws before Chief United States District Judge Gary L. Lancaster.
According to information presented to the court, Ramirez‑Flores was removed from the United States on Sept. 21, 2005 and then reentered the United States and was found in Allegheny County, Pa., on or about Aug. 18, 2010.
Assistant United States Attorney A. Elliot McLean prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.
The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Churchill Police Department conducted the investigation that led to the prosecution of Celedonio Ramirez‑Flores.
