
Uniontown Man Sentenced To Prison For Possessing Cocaine
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Acting United States Attorney Robert S. Cessar announced today, March 17, 2010, that Tyree Lavare Truley, a resident of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced in federal court in Pittsburgh to serve 78 months in prison for violating federal narcotics laws.
Senior United States District Judge Gustave Diamond imposed the sentence on Truley, age 32.
According to information presented to the court by Assistant United States Attorney Craig W. Haller, on April 30, 2007, Truley possessed nearly one kilogram of cocaine with the intent to distribute it.
Mr. Cessar commended the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Pennsylvania State Police for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Truley.
