Georgia Woman Sentenced To Prison For Possessing Crack Cocaine
PITTSBURGH, Pa. ‑ A resident of Georgia has been sentenced in federal court to 32 months in prison followed by three years supervised release for violating federal narcotics laws, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.
United States District Judge David S. Cercone imposed the sentence on Senekqua Mona Manuel-Hopkins, 38, of Stone Mountain, Ga., on Friday, Nov. 19, 2010.
According to information presented to the court, in and around March, 2008, Manuel-Hopkins conspired with Donald Deaderick of Penn Hills, Pennsylvania and possessed with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of crack cocaine and 500 grams or more of cocaine.
Assistant United States Attorney Craig W. Haller prosecuted this case on behalf of the United States.
U.S. Attorney Hickton commended the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Pennsylvania State Police for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Manuel-Hopkins.
