Johnstown Man Sentenced To Probation For Distributing Cocaine

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. ‑ A resident of Johnstown, Pa., has been sentenced in federal court to two years probation on his conviction of distributing cocaine, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.

United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson imposed the sentence on Brian Hill, 30.

According to information presented to the court, Hill distributed less than 500 grams of cocaine on Sept. 30, 2008.

Assistant United States Attorney John J. Valkovci, Jr., prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.

U.S. Attorney Hickton commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation/Laurel Highlands Resident Agency, the Cambria County Drug Task Force, and the Johnstown Police Department for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Hill.
