Judge Sentenced Johnstown Crack Cocaine Dealer To 12 Years in Prison
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - A resident of Johnstown, Pa., has been sentenced in federal court to 151 months (12 years,7 months) in prison on his conviction of various narcotics offenses, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.
United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson imposed the sentence on Robert L. Harrison, 30.
According to information presented to the court, from March 23 to June 30, 2010, Harrison conspired to distribute five grams or more of cocaine base, commonly known as "crack." In addition, on June 30, 2010, he possessed five grams or more of crack with the intent to distribute it.
Assistant United States Attorney John J. Valkovci, Jr., prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.
U.S. Attorney Hickton commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation/Laurel Highlands Resident Agency and the Cambria County Drug Task Force for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Harrison.
