Shaler Drug Dealer Sentenced To 30 Months In Federal Prison

PITTSBURGH, Pa. ‑ A resident of Shaler Township, Pa., was sentenced in federal court on March 10, 2011, to 30 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, on his conviction of violating federal drug laws, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.

Senior United States District Judge Alan N. Bloch imposed the sentence on Michael Lisanti, 30.

According to information presented to the court, on March 30, 2010, Lisanti possessed with intent to distribute less than 500 grams of cocaine.

Assistant United States Attorney Barbara K. Swartz prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.

U.S. Attorney Hickton commended the Drug Enforcement Administration for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Michael Lisanti.
