
Wyoming Man Sentenced To Probation, Fined For Possessing Illegal Drugs
ERIE, Pa. ‑ A resident of Cheyenne, Wyoming, pled guilty and has been sentenced in federal court to one year probation, ordered to pay a $3,000 fine and forfeit $2,910 on his conviction of violating federal drug laws United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.
United States District Judge Sean J. McLaughlin imposed the sentence on Richard James Arnold, 23.
According to information presented to the court, on or about July 1, 2010, Arnold possessed a quantity of marijuana, psilocyn and dimethyltryptamine (DMT).
Assistant United States Attorney Marshall J. Piccinini prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.
U.S. Attorney Hickton commended the United States Forest Service for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Arnold.
