Washington, Pa., Crack Dealer Sentenced To 5 Years In Prison
PITTSBURGH, Pa. ‑ A resident of Washington, Pa., has been sentenced in federal court to 60 months in prison followed by three years supervised release on his conviction of violating federal narcotics laws, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.
United States District Judge Terrence F. McVerry imposed the sentence on Douglas Yohdale Cochran, 32.
According to information presented to the court, on Aug. 27, 2008, Cochran distributed and possessed with intent to distribute five grams or more of cocaine base, in the form commonly known as crack.
Assistant United States Attorney Charles A. Eberle prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.
U.S. Attorney Hickton commended the Pennsylvania State Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Cochran.
