Philadelphia Man Sentenced In Johnstown To 5 Years In Prison For Possessing Crack Cocaine

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - A resident of Philadelphia, Pa., has been sentenced in federal court to 63 months in prison and four years supervised release on his conviction of possession with intent to distribute cocaine base, commonly known as "crack," United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.

United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson imposed the sentence on Nisia Kevin Dunaway, 23.

According to information presented to the court, on April 10, 2010, Dunaway possessed with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of cocaine base.

Assistant United States Attorney Stephanie L. Haines prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.

U.S. Attorney Hickton commended the Laurel Highlands Resident Agency of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Cambria County Drug Task Force for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Dunaway.
