Judge Sentences West Virginia Woman For Distributing Ecstasy

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - A resident of Follansbee, West Virginia, pleaded guilty in federal court to a charge of violating the federal narcotics laws, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.

Kylee Priest, 21, pleaded guilty to a one-count Bill of Information before Senior United States District Judge Gustave Diamond.  She was also sentenced to a four-year term of probation, including four months of home detention.

In connection with the guilty plea and sentencing, the court was advised that on July 29, 2010, Priest possessed with intent to distribute and distributed methylenedioxymethylamphetamine (MDMA), commonly known as ecstasy.

Assistant United States Brendan T. Conway is prosecuting this case on behalf of the government.

The Drug Enforcement Administration conducted the investigation that led to the prosecution of Kylee Priest.
