
Beechview Man Sentenced To 3 Years In Prison For Cocaine Trafficking Scheme
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - On Sept. 8, 2011, a resident of Pittsburgh, Pa., was sentenced in federal court to 36 months in prison on his conviction of violating the federal narcotics laws, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.
Senior United States District Judge Alan N. Bloch imposed the sentence on Larry Hatten, 34.
According to information presented to the court, on or about Nov. 20, 2006, in the Western District of Pennsylvania, Hatten conspired with others to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute more than 500 grams or more of cocaine, a Schedule II controlled substance.
Assistant United States Attorney Troy Rivetti prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.
U.S. Attorney Hickton commended the Drug Enforcement Administration for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Hatten.
