
Federal Inmate Sentenced for Possessing Weapon in Prison
ERIE, Pa. - An inmate at the McKean Federal Correctional Institution in Bradford, Pennsylvania pleaded guilty and was sentenced in federal court to twelve months incarceration on his conviction for possession of contraband in prison, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.
United States District Judge Sean J. McLaughlin imposed the sentence on Marcus Luther, 27.
According to information presented to the court, on March 28, 2012, Luther was in possession of a weapon.
Assistant United States Attorney Christian A. Trabold prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.
U.S. Attorney Hickton commended Officers of the McKean Federal Correctional Institution for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Luther.
