St. Francis Man Acquitted of Sexual Abuse Charges

United States Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that a St. Francis, South Dakota, man was acquitted on August 30, 2011, of Sexual Abuse as a result of a federal jury trial in Pierre, South Dakota.
Lemoyne Blindman, age 44, was indicted by a federal grand jury on November 9, 2010.
The charges relate to the alleged sexual abuse of a woman at Rosebud in September 2009.
The investigation was conducted by Rosebud Law Enforcement Services, and the United States Attorney's Office prosecuted the case.
