Pine Ridge Man Sentenced for Larceny

United States Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that a Pine Ridge man charged with Larency was sentenced on December 13, 2011, by U.S. Magistrate Judge Veronica L. Duffy. Gaven Youngman, a/k/a Gaven Afraid of His Horses, age 30, was sentenced to 3 years probation, a $25 victims' assessment, and $2167.18 in restitution.
Youngman was indicted by a federal grand jury on May 17, 2011. Between August 2010 and April 2011, Youngman stole computers, computer equipment, and gift cards from the Pine Ridge School. He pled guilty on October 4, 2011.
This case was investigated by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of Law Enforcement Services. Assistant U.S. Attorney Eric Kelderman prosecuted the case. |
