Arizona Man Sentenced for Failure to Pay Child Support

United States Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that an Arizona man charged with Failure to Pay Legal Child Support pled guilty and was sentenced on February 2, 2012, by United States Magistrate Judge Mark A. Moreno. Floyd M. Campbell, age 60, was sentenced to pay $15,477.33 in restitution and a $10 special assessment to the Victim Assistance Fund.

Campbell was indicted by a federal grand jury on September 7, 2011. The charges relate to Campbell's failure to pay child support for his minor child from February 2011 until the present while Campbell resided in a different state from that minor child.

This case was investigated by the Department of Health and Human Services. Assistant United States Attorney Jay Miller prosecuted the case.
