U.S. Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that Kyle Ray Merritt, age 25, of Ft. Thompson, appeared before U.S. District Judge Roberto A. Lange on March 26, 2012, and pled guilty to Sexual Abuse of a Minor. The maximum penalty upon conviction is 15 years' imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, or both.
