Rosebud Woman Acquitted of Assault Charges

United States Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that a Rosebud woman was acquitted of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury as a result of a federal jury trial in Pierre, South Dakota. Shanna Moore, age 35, was indicted by a federal grand jury on December 14, 2011.

The charges related to the alleged assault of the victim on August 4, 2011.

The investigation was conducted by Rosebud Sioux Tribe Law Enforcement Services.
