
Porcupine Man Sentenced For Selling Eagle Parts

United States Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that a Porcupine man charged with Unlawfully Trafficking in Eagles and Unlawfully Trafficking in Migratory Birds was sentenced on January 5, 2012, by U.S. District Judge Jeffrey L. Viken. Stanley Littleboy, age 35, was sentenced to 5 months' custody, 1 year of supervised release, and a $125 victim assessment. In June 2009 and May 2010, in Shannon County, Littleboy unlawfully sold parts of an American Eagle and a golden eagle. He pled guilty on September 2, 2011. This case was investigated by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Eric Kelderman and Timothy Maher prosecuted the case. |
