Man From Mexico Guilty of Illegally Living in the United States

United States Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that a man living in Rapid City charged with Illegal Reentry After Deportation was sentenced on March 6, 2012, by U.S. District Judge Jeffrey L. Viken. Jaime Munoz-Jurado, age 41, was sentenced to time served.

In August 2011, Munoz-Jurado was found to be living in the United States illegally, having previously been deported to Mexico. Munoz-Jurado was found guilty of the offense after a jury trial on December 29, 2012.

This case was investigated by the Bureau of Immigration & Customs Enforcement.
