
Nebraska Man Sentenced for Interstate Transportation of Converted Property

United States Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that a Hay Springs, Nebraska, man charged with Interstate Transportation of Converted Property was sentenced on November 26, 2012, by U.S. District Judge Jeffrey L. Viken. Keith Allison, age 36, was sentenced to 12 months and 1 day of imprisonment and 3 years of supervised release and ordered to pay $132,667.58 in restitution and $100 to the Victim Assistance Fund. Between February 2009 and March 2010, Allison removed valuable parts from a semi-truck he had financed, and then abandoned it. He pled guilty on August 14, 2012. This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Sarah B. Collins prosecuted the case. |
