BEAUMONT, Texas – A 32-year-old Orange, Texas man has been sentenced to federal prison for child pornography violations in the Eastern District of Texas, announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales today.

Thomas Robert Brown pleaded guilty on May 31, 2012, to possession of child pornography and was sentenced to 78 months in federal prison today by U.S. District Judge Thad Heartfield.

According to information presented in court, on Apr. 29, 2011, law enforcement officers and agents executed a federal search warrant at Brown’s residence in Orange, Texas.
