NORFOLK, Va. – Adrienne H. Harris, 22, of Virginia Beach, Va., was sentenced today in Norfolk federal Court to 25 years in prison, followed by supervised release for life, for producing child pornography using a one-year-old victim.

            Neil H. MacBride, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, and Charles T. May Jr., Special Agent in Charge of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service Norfolk Field Office, made the announcement after Harris was sentenced by United States District Judge Mark S. Davis.

            Harris previously pleaded guilty on June 6, 2012.  According to court documents, in the summer of 2011 Harris produced and emailed sexually explicit images of the victim at the request of an individual who is currently awaiting trial in Porter County, Indiana for a similar scheme with another young woman that involved a three-year-old victim.      

            This case was investigated by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and the Indiana State Police.  Special Assistant United States Attorney Christopher A. George and Assistant United States Attorney Elisabeth Yusi prosecuted the case on behalf of the United States.
