
PRESS CONFERENCE FOLLOWING SENTENCING OF AHMED RESSAM
United States Attorney John McKay, First Assistant United States Attorney Mark Bartlett, Assistant United States Attorney Mike Lang and Assistant United States Attorney Karen Baker from the Southern District of New York will be joined by key representatives of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for a press conference following the sentencing of Ahmed Ressam.
The sentencing is scheduled to begin Wednesday April 27 at 8:30 AM in front of U.S. District Judge John C. Coughenour. Media planning to attend are reminded to bring government issue photo ID and press credentials. The 16th Floor courtroom will open for press at 7:45 AM. Please allow enough time to clear two security screenings.
The press conference following sentencing, will be in the Thomas C. Wales Conference room at the United States Attorney's Office, 5th Floor of the Federal Courthouse at 700 Stewart Street, Seattle. The press conference is scheduled for 1:00 PM but could be adjusted depending on the length of the sentencing hearing.
