ANTONIO ZACARIAS-MORALES, 22, of Burlington, Skagit County, Washington was sentenced today to 84 months in prison and four years of supervised release for Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine and Heroin. ZACARIAS-MORALES was sentenced in Seattle by U.S. District Judge John C. Coughenour.

According to court records, ZACARIAS-MORALES admitted to investigators that he traveled twice a month to California returning with kilogram quantities of heroin and cocaine hidden in secret compartments in his car. Undercover agents made ten buys of heroin and cocaine from ZACARIAS-MORALES. During those encounters, ZACARIAS-MORALES' cell phone was ringing virtually every minute, indicating a high level of drug activity. ZACARIAS-MORALES was on probation for a state drug conviction even as he resumed his drug dealing activities in Skagit County.

The case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Skagit County Interlocal Drug Enforcement Unit (SCIDEU), and the Northwest Regional Drug Task Force which contains officers from the Skagit County Sheriff's Department.
