Kearneysville Resident Entered Guilty Plea
To Unlawfully Possessing Firearms
MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 33 year old Kearneysville, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on April 17, 2009, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.
United States Attorney Sharon L. Potter announced that ROBERT NICHOLAS ROSS, a convicted felon, entered a plea of guilty to unlawfully possessing firearms on June 12, 2007, in Kearneysville. ROSS, who is currently in custody, faces a maximum penalty of 15 years to life imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul T. Camilletti. The case was investigated by the West Virginia State Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives.
